If anyone knows who I should talk to about the video rights to Raggedy Ann & Andy: A Musical Adventure [1977], let me know. The rights seem to lie with CBS [via Simon & Schuster and possibly Paramount]. We might like to involve someone who has negotiated about video rights before, perhaps someone who owns or is closely involved with a small DVD/Blu-Ray release label.

I can't seem to find any info on who owns the distribution rights currently.
Perhaps someone at 20 Century Fox knows? Maybe they have reclaimed them from CBS?
I think your best bet is to contact both.

I'm not so sure about Fox having the video rights if CBS has the rights. My Fair Lady (another CBS property) was initially distributed by Warner, but the video rights are currently with Paramount, so I would say it's likely that Paramount has the video rights for Raggedy Ann as well.

And now Miramax has blocked the workprint on YouTube.

Interested in finding people to create subtitles for The Thief and the Cobbler Recobbled Cut Mk4. We had English, Spanish and Russian subtitles for the 2008 Mk3 version, but those need to be retimed and redone now. [The Mk4 version has different timing and additional scenes.] A retimed/corrected English version could become the guide for translations to multiple languages.

[Willian Vailant has offered to do this possibly.]

The Thief and the Cobbler Unrestored Workprint
The unrestored workprint of Richard Williams' unfinished masterpiece, used as source material for the Recobbled Cut restoration [also at this channel]. This version restored from VHS by Christoph Nass.

I had done Portuguese subtitles for the March 13th version of the Mark 4, I don't remember if I ever shared it in these forums, anyway, I think I should dig it up and synch it to the ''final'' Mark 4 since I'm already working with subtitles for Rock & Rule
