Italian singer Adriano Celentano had a hit in 1972 with "Prisencolinensinainciusol," whose unintelligible lyrics sound like what American English might sound like to a non-speaker.

You could make a good compilation album out of songs people have done to specifically parody Bob Dylan, which were often hits in their own right. Judging from the harmonica solo and general presentation, this counts.

There's a section of Marina's "Purge the Poison" music video which is a lot like a section of my edit for Marina's "The Outsider" ... a section which was itself borrowed from a video by WM Borzemski. Coincidence or not, just wanted to mention it.

You know what's still great? Ryan Winford's 2003 indie album, Too Delicate to Be Thrown. I used this one heavily on the soundtrack of a movie I was making at the time, Gods of Los Angeles. This week, I found myself thinking about Open Door.

Extended KT Tunstall "Tiger Suit" with bonus tracks - early versions and demos- with different production that's worse than the spectacular final versions. Also a jazzy unheard title track, and "It Doesn't Have To Be Like This (Baby)." Best of the demos: a completely raw "Come On Get In" with different lyrics and no production. "Madame Trudeau" is also about halfway there in the sessions. "Difficulty" is not. The remix (?) presented on the main album doesn't sound as good either.

Bonus Dylan.
