3D and 2D Monsters
For Poser and the free DAZ Studio
Macra Crab - from The Macra Terror. This Poser Macra is taken from a Google Sketchup model by VideoGamer321. It's ready to menace Macra Terror Polly ... Download the Poser model here - will also work with the free DAZ Studio, downloadable at daz3d.com.
Macra Crab (Poseable 3D model) for Poser and DAZ Studio
Poser Yeti - from The Web of Fear and The Abominable Snowmen. He is customizable to be the tall Web of Fear Yeti, or the roly-poly Abominable Snowman Yeti. You can hide and resize his eyes, and resize his body. The original Yeti model was by Adam Bullock, remodeled a bit and Poserfied by me. An Ice Warrior model is also included in this ZIP.
Poser Yeti (Poseable 3D model) and Ice Warrior -
Poser Ice Warrior - This is Aaron J Climas' Ice Warrior, converted for use in Poser by myself. He can also be used in the free DAZ Studio program, and posed any way you like.
Ice Warrior (Poseable 3D model) for Poser and DAZ Studio
If you download the Poser Ice Warrior, keep in mind that this character has several alternate faces as well, which are intended for lip sync purposes. They're all invisible props right now, but you can make them visible, enlarge them to 141%, place them inside the Ice Warrior's helmet, give them a material, and parent them to the Ice Warrior's head. (The face he has is actually just a prop parented to the head, so it can be made invisible and replaced with the alternate faces.)
Tenth Planet Cyberman - PZ3 Poser file. May require a DAZ Michael 3 base, and a Spider-man mask. You can email me at tygerbug (at) yahoo.com if you're doing a serious Tenth Planet project and need help with these. Uses Adam Bullock's Tenth Planet Cyberman head and chestpiece.
Tenth Planet Cyberman pieces for Poser
Here are some nice hi res images of him that are suitable for use in animated projects.
Tenth Planet Cyberman - hi-res 2D renders, as JPEGs
Textures for the Ice Warrior and Tenth Planet Cyberman
Wheel in Space Cyberman. Uses Redfern's Cyberhead and Adam Bullock's Wheel in Space Cyberman arm, chest and leg pieces. The base figure is DAZ's Michael 3, wearing the Raider Pants and Uzilite Long Sleeved Sweater. Since his entire body is covered, I made him invisible. You can email me at tygerbug (at) yahoo.com if you're doing a serious Wheel in Space/Moonbase project and need help with these.
Wheel in Space Cyberman for Poser
Moonbase Cyberman. Work in progress. Uses Redfern's Cyberhead and Adam Bullock's Wheel in Space Cyberman arm, chest and leg pieces.
Moonbase Cyberman for Poser
Both those Cyberman MAY require other items but I'm not sure. They do need the textures from Redfern's Cyberhelmet. I've previously made those available in a previous download, which included the helmet and some other stuff.
For you 3D artists, here's the Wheel in Space Cyberman in a T-pose, set up for rigging.
Wheel in Space Cyberman in a T-pose for rigging in other programs - plus Poser Cyberman helmet and textures
It's in Lightwave, 3D Studio Max, Poser and Wavefront OBJ formats. Some textures are included to give him a Wheel in Space or Moonbase/Tomb face.
It's a 3D model which you have to rig yourself.
If you're a Poser user, I've included the actual Poser files for the head and arm/leg pieces, which are already rigged for use with Michael 3. Poser users will also need the M3 Raider Pants and the Uzilite long-sleeved sweater for Michael 3. I think these are free items - you can probably find them at renderosity.com. You can use the included Cyber-helmet, imported as a prop, place it over Michael's head, and then selecting the nonexistent head of the Raider Pants, select "Replace body part with prop", select the Cyber-helmet, and then you'll have a helmet parented to the pants, which will work with the figure.
The "Silver" textures included are intended as reflection maps.
The Seaweed Creature - From Fury From the Deep - For use in Poser and the free DAZ Studio program, downloadable at daz3d.com.
This is based on an Octopus I found in the Google 3D warehouse. I made the tentacles spiky to represent seaweed leaves, and added a second octopus over the spiky one with a transparency map on him to represent foaming bubbles.
Seaweed Creature for Poser and DAZ Studio
Here are my various attempts at revising the geometry of Adam Bullock's Yeti model.
These are 3DS and OBJ files you can import into most any 3D program. The newer stuff is called "Yeti Revised" and is in 3DS format.
I've posted a low poly version, a smoothed out version, and two versions which have spikes all over his body geometry, substituting for fur if you don't want to fur him up.
Freebie Items by other artists:
This is Redfern's great Cyberman helmet.
Adam Bullock's various Anim8or models - the Wheel in Space Cyberman and Dalek Emperor are pretty good. These use the free (and very easy to use) Windows program Anim8or, from which they can be converted to OBJ or 3DS for use in other 3D programs like Poser, DAZ etc.
Very good classic Dalek and TARDIS. Not Poserized, but will import into Poser/DAZ.
Another Dalek, ditto.
Most of the stuff I use is free stuff - if you get Michael 3 and Victoria 4 on your system you can get most of my Who companions working using stuff easily found online. For example, Sara Kingdom, Barbara, Macra Polly and Moonbase Polly all use Kirwyn's EZ Casual Set for Victoria 4 found at ShareCG.
Another New Series Dalek.
This is Redfern's Sontaran for The Freak. If you have the Freak and Michael morphs.
