[director] [ Python Links ]

We try our hardest to provide you with everything a Monty Python fan could want, but we still fail miserably. We can't hope to be entirely comprehensive, so here are some links to other excellent pages.

[ The Mr Teabag Award ]

These are the cream of the crap, er... cream of the crop, sorry. It was formerly the TOP 10 Monty Python sites of all time, but the title was too long, and we really couldn't find 10 sites :). Here are the very biggest, best sites on the net. Okay, so now, without further ado, the winners of the Mr Teabag Award.

Stone Dead Productions presents:
M. P. F. C. in Australia.

This site wins by default by size, with a huge script archive, very comprehensive. A large collection of pictures, video and audio clips and songs. Run by a fellow Australian called Bruce, the site has recently been spruced up a bit.

Nice, clean design and easy to navigate. Only pitfall is that all video and audio clips are in Real Media formats, which means downloading, the bulky, cluttered and ever banner plastered, Realplayer.

But you should still take a look at it, it's probably the biggest Python site out there. Good stuff.
Monty Python's PythoNET.

A truly unique and genuinely fun site. Garrett “Bug” Gilchrist has an original style to his pages, which is cartoony and humourous. This is our sister site, Linus the Llama and Bug have done numerous joint projects before Whizzo Online, and Garrett is a major contributor to our site.

The site itself has a great spread of stuff, including things from Pre/Post Python projects and other quite rare Python stuff. Lots of midi music, and scripts and more weird titbits. FuN! FuN! FuN!
M o n t y P y t h o n . n e t.

Certainly the largest Monty Python sounds page I've ever come across. Also the largest combined Monty Python and Fawlty Towers site. Mainly has lots of sounds from Monty Python and Fawlty Towers in MPEG-Layer 3 encoded .wav format.

This site also has pictures and songs, and biographical information, and has a simple, straightforward layout and design. Great audio resource.
Words of Innespiration.

I know, I know! Neil Innes wasn't officially a Python. But he did star in the 4th series, the stages shows, the records, Holy Grail and Life of Brian! If that doesn't qualify him, what does?

This page is not by Neil Innes himself, but by Bonnie Rose and Laurie Stevens, two lovely gals who have also conrtibuted to our site, and their own site is superb!

The site has pictures, audio, lyrics, chords and info about Neil's entire career from Bonzos, to Python, to the Raggy Dolls, to Rutles: Archaeology. Wow!
Monty Python's Daily Llama.

The greatest Monty Python e-zine there ever was. Was being the key word, as this once complete Monty Python webshite, has been dormant, presumed dead since July 1999. What a pity.

But it still gets a mention in here for its still-most-accurate, and slightly out dated now, Monty Python Bibiliography. All the material the Pythons have produced is listed up to early 1999. Unfortunately the thumbnail image links no longer work, shame.

Still worth checking out for the Bibligraphy though. Cool Gilliam cartoon based interface.
Castle Cleveland.

A site devoted to "the Python Girl". So much material, it's scary. At first you'll think Erik Larson is some sort of stalker, then you'll want to join the Carol Cleveland Appreciation and Jockstrap Throwing Society :).

Pictures, biographical information, a filmogarphy, video clips (we donated some) and all the Carol related stuff you could ever want. An excellent site.
