Also, the Michael Bay Ninja Turtles movie is happening. :(

Emma Stone pictures from Spider-man 2 seem to drop a ridiculously big spoiler. Combine this with who was cast as Mary Jane though, and I smell suck.

Having Gwen Stacy in a Spiderman movie is a spoiler anyway ; she's meant to die, that's her only purpose ! :D

How else is Spiderman supposed to become an angsty soap opera series for years and years if he doesn't accidentally kill his girlfriend due to physics? But of course, Mary Jane is a ginger, and thus immune to the laws of physics, so whenever she's flung off a bridge, she's fine.

If they had real writers in charge of Marvel, they could have done so many really interesting things with the basic idea of One More Day. Peter Parker has aged and grown older in the Marvel Universe, but he never actually grew up and he still acts like a teenager. He can't hold down a job, he can't let go of his extremely old aunt, he's divorced Mary Jane at least once because he sucks at relationships. They could have made a really neat plotline in which he learns to ACTUALLY grow up. But no, they just reset years and years of continuity for no reason, while leaving the rest of the universe's continuity alone, and then never do anything with it.

Honestly, if you want my opinion, I only wish that the series would just end, because after all the best stories are the ones that have an ending.

Like that's ever going to happen. Serialized stories have always had this problem. Sherlock Holmes is the best example of this, getting killed off because Doyle's sick of writing it, but then coming back to life because the need of money and it's popularity. That's not to say serialized stories are bad, or not worth time investing in, they just rarely ever stop until the author dies or a really long time passes. Even then they usually keep going.
