Congratulations on finishing it. I think a set-top box is needed to capture Amazon and Netflix properly as video. (A Roku?) It's why I didn't even bother to use the Netflix capture of Monster Maker for my restoration.

I found an article online about capturing movies from Netflix for your own personal use:

I'm not sure if it would work for Amazon, but I haven't seen anything on that site that says that it won't work on Amazon Instant Video.

That's interesting. I'll look into it more once I start my fanedit of Blair Witch 2, since I want to do it in HD and the only 1080p copy of the film is on VUDU.

Well, I wouldn't want to take that much of a gamble. If Motels were still on Netflix I'd try it out.

A box like a Roku is an expensive gamble, but capturing video off your computer simply won't run at the correct frame rate. A set-top box has a good chance that it will.

Yeah, you get what you pay for as the saying goes. I've got it on my wish list in case I can afford it on random day, :3

And ah, Motels appears to be back on Netflix... Goody, :D

Oh well, I'll just have to make a "better frames" edition of this if I can get and work a Roku before the film gets a decent release. I have an inkling which will come first, xD

Just noted a rather nasty sync issue cropping up in the middle, during Magic FIngers most noticeably. You can see what I mean on YouTube.
