Nice show, I liked the animated clips, but I'm not sure if there are any Rock & Rule music videos in there that I haven't restored, or would have been used to promote the film, like Hot Dogs and Sushi, or the SLT Finale.

I'll look into it soon.

You learn something new everyday; the shot where Omar says ''You trust everybody'' is repeated twice in the US cut, but none of those shots are the same as the one in the Canadian version, one has the original background, the other doesn't, and the original shot zoomed out, both shots in the US version are still

That first scene with Angel and Omar has a completely different atmosphere in both versions, it's hell trying to match them colorwise.

Been procastinating too much with this, synching both versions literally took a few minutes, I decided to put together a rough cut.

There's a lot that can be done with color correction, but it's not my specialty.

The people who were -- were -- doing the Star Wars 35mm project had some tricks.

I think they used the Sony Vegas color corrector, with an uncompressed rip of something it's somewhat easy to select a specific spot and change the color/exposure, but it's best to do it all using as few effects as possible or the masks become visible

I'm putting the rough cut on MEGA, soon there will be a link

A subscription to Night Flight PLUS runs $2.99 a month or $29.99 for the year. Not gonna break the bank. The point would be to get high quality audio for the Rock & Rule songs if they can be found.

A Transcript of Rock & Rule which also serves as a really handy and clear way of comparing the US version with the Canadian version.

I sure do hope I can put it on Youtube, but first I need to worry about a couple of things, until then I posted the first and last 12 Minutes of film.

Rock & Rule cels, some of these don't appear in any version of the film, as far as I'm concerned, like a close-up of Omar, probably meant to play during the climax, Quadhole in scenes obviously not in the movie, like shouting at a megaphone, Omar and the gang in the car, probably from the begining of the movie, it goes on.

Another interesting to note is the scenes that are only in the Canadian Version, like Zip being alive at the end and Omar turning to face Angel, which is colored/lit completely different in both cuts!
