Triumph
Triumph
Triumph
Triumph, triumph of the glory, triumph of the will for me
Triumph, triumph of the fortnight, I am making history
You are all witness to my will, I told you I was better still
Than anything that had ever come before me
What better time to be alive than when my dirt is magic jive
What a privilege it is to watch such a superior being
Triumph, triumph of my logic, triumph of a dream come true
Triumph, triumph of a visionary, I'm so far above you
I have purified the world, so my legend will be told
How Mok made music that can elevate your soul
Triumph, triumph of the power of the glory of the magic of the brilliance of me
Triumph, contempt for the usual, contempt for everything else but me
Anything that came before me, I told you don't even bother to see it
The quintessant best stands before you now, I'm Mok and I am the greatest
So triumph, triumph of the glory, triumph of the power of me
Triumph, triumph of the power, triumph of the glory of me
The power that comes through electricity is the mere frightening power that illuminates me
And I told you that the power is me, is me, is me
Triumph, triumph of the glory, triumph of the glory of me
Triumph, triumph of the glory of the power and the glory of me
Triumph, triumph of the glory, triumph of the glory of me
Triumph, triumph of the glory, the power and the glory that is me
Triumph, triumph of the glory, triumph of the glory of me
Triumph, triumph of the glory, triumph of the glory of me
Triumph, triumph of the glory, triumph of the power of me
Triumph, triumph of the glory of the power and the glory of me
Triumph, triumph of the power and the glory of me
Triumph, the power and glory and the glory of me
And the glory and the glory of me
The power and the glory of me
Triumph, triumph of the glory and the power and the glory of me
Triumph, triumph of the power and the glory of me
Triumph, triumph of the power and the power and the glory of me
Triumph
Triumph

Post from 2003:
Stephen here from Unearthed Films. I took a little time out to send
you guys an update on the happenings of our dvd release of Rock and
Rule. As you guys know, we've been working hard on setting up the
music rights for a separate CD release of the songs for Rock and
Rule. We were told we can get it BUT, it would take a very long time.
Now, we could either wait which could take a year or two or a couple
of months and work on the release for the dvd.

Now, without the music rights, we cannot include the music video's
since they have the songs in their entirety. This was rather
upsetting to hear but the dvd will still be jammed pack with extra's
and the whole nine yards. Below is everything we have and can use for
the collector's set and the single release. Don't be too upset about
the music videos cause we can still clear the rights and get them in
time for the release.

Invocation Song

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xKLw9QDn6Hs

Guess at the lyrics for Invocation Song:

What you doing there
Come on here

What you doing there
Come on over here

[Something like:]
Sejas Whatyou Arthos Freede Be [?]
Tartarus Tetra, all I see [Palisee]
Active Matrix, time is calling me home

What you doing there
I'm here

What you doing there
I'm over here

That which is above
Is also that
Which is below
Immutable
Passive the best [?]
Immutable
Cause and Effect

[Something like:]
Tejas Whatyou Arthos Freede Be
Tejas Whatyou Arthos Freede Be
Tejas, Tetra, Palisee
Tejas, Tetra, Parthos Freede Be

What you doing there
Come here

What you doing there
Come on over here

Might do some more work on Rock & Rule ... I just dug up another copy of "Pain & Suffering" (its actual music video on VHS) and I have some other ideas on how to improve this edit a little bit.

EDIT: After a lot of experimentation I've redone "Pain & Suffering" [in two versions] and made some changes to "Send Love Through."

Nice, though I still would use more sound from the Canadian version, especially that entire last part, but hey, the ''Making of Rock & Rule'' featurette has better audio for the score part of the Send Love Through Finale towards the credits

I was looking at "The Making of Rock & Rule" but it's in mono! So is the workprint version of the ending.

I actually used the workprint in the left channel and the Canadian cut in the right for a few things. The lack of stereo is definitely a problem .... I could use one version in one ear and one version in the other but that's a goofy way to do it.

Keep in mind the Canadian cut is from VHS, and just doesn't have good sound quality generally.

I wonder if the original recordings for the songs still exist somewhere, still, a big problem with the 5.1 mix of Send Love Through is that Debbie Harry is too loud, she has 2 recordings playing at the same time, drowining Zander's vocals, with the rest of the instruments just sort of blending in the background, it isn't that much clearer in the Canadian VHS, but it's softer and sorta balances everything out nicely, the only way to really restore these songs is to go back to the original tapes and re-mix them.

That Marvel Super Special is pretty interesting, it still uses part of the Canadian version dialog mixed with the revised one, and one instance where they use the original scene of Angel asking Omar to play her song with Omar frowning instead of smiling like in the US Cut

I'm not sure what even exists now to remix the material ... the songs certainly exist in stereo album mixes, but I'm not sure about "Send Love Through" or even "Hot Dogs & Sushi." A lot was lost over the years ... though the mono workprint wasn't, apparently, as that's excerpted on the DVD in very high quality. That might well be the best source for Omar's voice!
