You've got a great eye for this!

I need to download your edit. Been a little busy/preoccupied.

I sure do hope I can put it on Youtube, but first I need to worry about a couple of things, until then I posted the first and last 12 Minutes of film.

Let me know if you can get it on YouTube. my friends and I were thinking of streaming the film and it would be nice to stream the Canadian cut in this quality.

I've been considering putting it up on Youtube, but last time I did with the previous version of the edit it got deleted and everytime they pull a video from my channel I can't upload 15+ minutes videos for 3 months. I should try it since now apparently Nelvana lets the films stay up on Youtube so they can make money off the ad revenue, which is fair I guess, and it's happening to my other Rock & Rule videos anyway.

Rare Rock & Rule memorabilia sighted! A Promotional Poster for Brazilian distribution, where the movie was translated as ''Rock Fantasy'', I should consider getting myself this, since it's quite cheap while the official VHS release is very rare and expensive.

Animator John Celestri (Mylar, Cindy Schlepper, Officer Quadhole) Has a blog with a tidbit of information on Rock & Rule, as well as seminar notes for newer animators in which he uses a scene with Officer Quadhole that doesn't even appear in the film

https://johncelestri.blogspot.com.br/se ... k+%26+Rule

I had found the cels of this scene online, but couldn't figure out the context in the movie, but because Celestri shared the X-sheets the shot goes more or less like this:

Quad gets angry and exclaims ''Chicken?!'' but then restrains himself and says ''Omar, you lucked out on this one.''

A glimpse of "The Spirit" too!

[Sorry if I haven't been around as much. Been busy with a private project.]

John Celestri writes:

"The answer is that an entire second Quadhole sequence was cut after it had been completely animated and painted. So, only half of my Quadhole animation survived to see the light of day. Fortunately, I had kept xeroxes of all my poses in the film. I lugged those full sized drawings from one end of the continent to the other for the past 34 years."

No problem, I think I'm gonna do a pencil test of the pose sheet he posted, as well as compile the other cels into a ''deleted scenes'' video.

Old-school website featuring screengrabs from a VHS version of Rock & Rule, giving you a nice idea just how many detail is lost in the low-lights

http://www.silabub.com/animre/rorule.html

And the ''official'' Rock & Rule website where there's other links

http://www3.bc.sympatico.ca/jcannon/rocknrule/

EDIT: I just found what seems to be a an outtake/rough version of ''My Name is Mok'', the site I found it has no source, but VLC for some reason displays the song with the cover of Neil Young A Letter Home with it
