An MST3K Thing
http://www.mediafire.com/watch/d26d4fqe ... 5-EV2.mpeg
Here is a restored version of the final host segment from MST3K KTMA 15, Superdome, where Joel shows fanart from viewers. Known copies of this episode were missing the final host segment until October 2004, when it was found separately, saved by a fan whose art featured in the segment.
This copy is missing a few seconds at the beginning, and there are major color dropouts and glitches throughout.
I've restored the segment to remove or reduce the glitches. The artwork appears clean and what were serious dropouts just appear as some hazy color distortion. It's possible that I could do more if I really wanted to put some time in.
Here is the original for comparison:

Re: An MST3K Thing
I've edited a lot of material now, but these will do for a start:
MST3K Pilot The Green Slime (Mystery Science Theater 3000 K00)
https://vimeo.com/116826601
Here is a restored and reedited version of the MST3K pilot "The Green Slime," as shown with Joel Hodgson's introduction at the Archon 32 convention on 10/3/2008, 20 years after its creation.
Filmed off the projector screen, higher quality clips have been edited in whenever possible, including some tricky effects work.
MST3K K01 Invaders From the Deep (Mystery Science Theater 3000 clips)
https://vimeo.com/116829324
Here are all the known clips from the first aired episode of MST3K, which was never rerun and doesn't exist in fan hands. You'll also see some footage from the movie itself (a compilation from the Gerry Anderson TV series Stingray), including a recreation of most of a trailer for the movie.

I've just uploaded something I'm calling MST3K The Expanded KTMA Scrapbook to a torrent site.

MST3K K02 Revenge of the Mysterons From Mars (clips)

Clips from the second aired episode of MST3K, which was never rerun and doesn't exist in fan hands. A compilation from the Gerry Anderson TV series Captain Scarlet.
MST3K K03 Star Force: Fugitive Alien II (clips)

Cips from the third aired episode of MST3K, which was never rerun and doesn't exist in fan hands. A Sandy Frank compilation from the Japanese TV series Star Wolf and the Raiders, which MST3K tackled again in its third season on cable.

MST3K Scrapbook Extended: KTMA 1988-1989
https://vimeo.com/117709846
In 1995, Best Brains released a VHS tape, The MST3K Scrapbook. This is based on the KTMA section of that, showing the show's pilot season on local Minnesota station KTMA23, but with some additional material. Sandy Frank trailers for Gamera and Gamera vs. Barugon, and Joel asking fans to call in. Tom Servo announcing a rerun of Gamera vs. Zigra. Ads for Pizza & Pasta, Club Travel and Joel's stand-up. And a montage of photos from the KTMA season. Restored edit by Garrett Gilchrist.

Re: An MST3K Thing
Kevin Murphy, Josh Weinstein, Jim Mallon and company in KTMA23's New Year's Melon Drop 1988. Interestingly, three specials have now been officially released by the station to Youtube.

The channel, now CW23, seems prouder than ever of the old days, and is still dropping melons.
