Garrett Gilchrist -- Artwork Cleanup Gallery.

Here is a look behind the scenes, at the process behind the artwork I do. First you'll see the rough sketch. Not my roughest sketches, but the first sketches I was happy with and could call "finished." Drawn with pencil on paper, these are then carefully inked on paper, then colored in Photoshop or other programs.

Examples are mostly Homestuck and My Little Pony.

And some articles. I'm seeing certain misconceptions about the Thief film turn up again and again in these synopses. Oh well.

A strange faked or unfinished version of our Whosprites animation of Evil of the Daleks episode 7 that someone posted on Youtube. This has sections animated by myself and by Adam Bullock, but also sections from the Loose Cannon recon. It might be a version that Adam Bullock saved when he was halfway done animating the episode. Our animation of this episode was not publicly released in full. Adam did a complete animation of the full episode, and I also animated several scenes from it, separately. Either version uses my Whosprites art and wouldn't be considered 100% finished.

Someone was asking what could be done on Twitter to shame Trump for failing Puerto Rico. I thought up a hashtag #TrumpIsKillingPR. I hadn't checked, but 3 people said this before me. I posted this seven times and it's turned into a minorly trending hashtag that people are using.

In 2007-08, we shot a little feature called Shamelessly She-Hulk, about the Marvel superheroine. The budget was only about $10k (and later nonexistent), and it was shot in SD, but the great cast carried it.

Its scenes have gotten 10.5 million channel views on Youtube.

Editing was difficult as most scenes required constant animation, CGI and rotoscope. I'm not a CGI artist really, and doing this all myself was overambitious. About half of the film was released. The rest of the 55 hours of footage that we shot has gone unseen.

Some of the film is now blocked on Youtube for music reasons. A cleaned-up modern remaster of half the film is sitting on my hard drive, partially complete.

Question: would you support a crowdfund to do a few more months' work and edit the rest of this film in some form?

Incidentally, I do have a Patreon which helps fund my other filmmaking and art activity. There's a lot I'm doing which isn't public these days, and which you'll hopefully see before too long.

Some of the usual misinformation, but a lengthy scene by scene review of both the Miramax and Recobbled cuts.

I am mentioned by name in this RocketJump video essay about how Star Wars was saved in the editing room. I did a popular film in 2005 about how Star Wars was saved in the edit, called Deleted Magic.

I have been working on a remastered version of my feature film Shamelessly She-Hulk (2007-08), in which the superheroine and member of Marvel's Avengers tells the story of how she came to be.

There's no release date yet, as I need to make money somehow and am doing this on the side. While most of the movie is viewable on Youtube, it was never fully finished in editing. 55 hours of footage was shot, and the massive amount of editing and special effects required meant I eventually had to put it aside.

With over 11 million channel views on Youtube it remains reasonably popular, though few have seen it in order as a full 90+ minute movie.

The remastered 10th or 11th anniversary version will also be very unfinished, but will feature improved picture quality and effects compositing, and feature everything that was edited at the time, as well as a bunch of newly edited scenes that haven't been seen previously.

Newly edited scenes include:
Titania fight
Spider-Man gets a phone call
French film
Hospital scene
Ending (Xemnu the Titan)

And possibly more, such as:

Zapper Meets Morbius
Zapper Says Goodbye
