Sounds like things are on track for this to really becoming something. Excited to see where this goes and where you take it.

Thanks! I'm still probably going to create a character at some point similar to what you designed.

I've been working on the art and animation today. Very excited to get started.

Paul Thacker and I have, in name and contract anyway, founded a small company called Selective Electricity (Cyline Games), and Paul has invested a little money to make it easier for me to work on the project full-time during January. So, expect to see a lot of Esperia in the coming year!

Sounds like a good start. Excited to see what you do during that time. If you need something let me know and I can see what I can do.

Also, Extra Credits released a video that I think might help you in some planning stages before going way too deep since your game is going to be narrative based. Might be worth the watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQ44hVeVdEw

I would highly recommend checking some of their videos if you want some tips for game design if you're not already familiar with them.

If you (or anyone else) works in Unity we could probably use the help! I know Paul's been working on the programming, and I've been working full-time on the artwork recently. So there will be more news soon.

Now is the time to start getting excited about this project. ;)

Paul and I have come to an agreement about the future of Esperia. A Kickstarter for the project will happen before the end of this year.

I've only shown a few things publicly but I've done a ton of art for the game. I might wait until we're closer to the Kickstarter and show everything then.

Danielle Rosenstein and Hailey Lain have contributed art and design, Jeffrey Fink is starting to work on environments and gameplay, Warren Blyth is working on one piece and I've also spoken to Kyle Fields about the programming.

We started from scratch today with a new code base and none of the old code, and Kyle, Jeff and I had a nice discussion about things. Jeff has designed the first room in rough form and we're in a good place to move along now.

Volunteering my help for any future efforts! Big fan of the art!
