If by end well, we mean that he actually amends the Constitution, I agree.

If by end well, we mean "wins the Republican nomination for the Presidency," sadly it probably won't hurt. Although if Rick Santorum runs again, we'll have a real fight on our hands over who can be most anti-gay.

Well, we'll fight that bridge when we come to it. Santorum's a joke and Cruz isn't much better -- the nominee will be someone else, I think. Probably someone new with less baggage.
