You have to understand how problematic this is. It's almost thought to be impossible. Honestly, this doesn't sound to me so much like cult behavior as what political commentators have started referring to as "epistimic closure". This is where a movement forms a closed loop of information sources which reinforce each other while not letting in any external criticism. So, for example, you can get many conservatives believing that global warming is a hoax, despite the fact that this has been proven as an objective fact about as well as anything can be.
