This is by far one of my favorite pieces of fan-art ever, and if I ever get enough money to commission channel art for DAD, it'll be this girl.

Here’s a recording sync I decided not to upload to disneyashmandemos. It’s a recording of Richard Sherman singing “Feed the Bird (Tuppence a Bag)” during an early story-meeting with P.L. Travers. If you listen closely, you can hear Ms. Travers softly singing the song to herself.

In the end, for whatever reason, I’m just not happy with how this turned out. And with two Frozen demo syncs and the Beauty and the Beast demos coming up, and no plans on releasing any other Mary Poppins recordings or demos, I’ve decided not to upload this to DAD. At least not yet.

Also, there’s a quick fade-out near the end for no reason, just because I forgot to take it out. Oopth! http://vimeo.com/105889203

The final GGLAM demo has been uploaded! View the playlist here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... puBpx8XA5q

Also, here are the two Frozen demo syncs I've done; "For the First Time in Forever" and "Love is an Open Door": http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... bZnVAvdJq- (If "Love~" doesn't work, try again tomorrow.)

The Little Shop of Horrors Copyright dispute

In December, when I started The Little Shop Archive, I decided to upload the original 1960 The Little Shop of Horrors. It was matched with third-party content, even though it's in the public domain. The other night while I was working on cleaning up and revamping the channels (BTW I did that and so check it out), I, out of habit, went to acknowledge the match before remembering Hank Green's video on YouTube copyright and I decided to dispute it under grounds of it being in the public domain. I went through all the steps, and I just checked the video today and it's no longer flagged as copyright.

It can work, people!

All the Beauty and the Beast demos are up! All of them can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL ... QonnkhJwFN

A few stand-outs are...
  • Be Our Guest - Demo: Howard Ashman's demo, synced up to the original version of the scene. (I was originally going to edit together a hybrid of the original and final scene, but it didn't work out.)
  • Something There: Alan Menken's demo, which has not been officially released and has not been uploaded anywhere.
  • Beauty and the Beast: The full, complete demo to "Beauty and the Beast," which includes a 40 second alternate open and, again, has not been officially released in full.
I'm working on something to start releasing tomorrow, but I don't know yet. We'll see.

I first created the DAD Facebook page wanting people to submit and talk about things. Well, Facebook has made that difficult, so, I'm taking a page out of Garrett's book and I'm phasing it out in favor of a group page! Come and join at http://www.facebook.com/groups/disneyashmandemos
