QUINN Restoration Project

Hey all, hope you don't mind me promoting this here but, I just started a fundraiser to get my dad's unfinished mastertapes transferred and released. I'm not too good with asking for or telling people about this sorta stuff, but it's very important to me, so what the hell.

You can check out the FB page here: https://www.facebook.com/helprestorequinn
And the actual site here: https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/1j6R0/ab/236jPa

Please share and spread it if you want to, or 'like' it as they say, I appreciate it.

It's not really clear what you need $5,000 for

Around $980-1000 to transfer three 24-track master reels and three 1/4 tapes. (To be done by Sonicraft)
Around $3800 for a Single Disc/Boxset package release and digital distribution. (To be done by Disc Makers)
And around $200 for mailing materials.

Just added it to the updates, :)

On the bright side, if this fundraiser fails, CDs can be released for cheaper than that, or for no cost on demand, so you could just do the transfers.

Indeed. Now that I think about it, I should probably just do the transfer money and release them digitally. Maybe have some extra to make a few discs by hand for friends.

EDIT: Updated for a slightly new plan, :)
