Well, this is neat. The Lost Media Wiki has released Howard Ashman's original treatment for Aladdin. After downloading it and taking a look, it's totally legit, and matches up to the draft that's in the Library of Congress. http://lostmediawiki.com/Aladdin_(found ... ilm;_1988)

I'm surprised that even lesser Don Bluth films aren't all on Blu-Ray already. The kid's market can't have dried up that badly.

It is surprising how even movies like this are now going to the boutique labels. However, this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Titan A. E. ends up going to Twilight Time.

As for this Rock-a-Doodle Blu-ray, I wouldn't expect much in the way of extras as Olive doesn't usually do extras and their picture quality record is shoddy at best.

On a similar note, Shout Factory announced a few months ago that they will be releasing The Plague Dogs, though haven't set a date or announced if it will be the uncut version.

I don't remember the season 1 end credits at all and they're kind of creepy. This big Garfield face.

IMDB says the first theme song was sung by Thom Huge (Jon/Roy/Binky) and Desiree Goyette (Nermal). Huge wrote on the US Acres songs and Goyette wrote on the Garfield songs with Ed Bogas (going back to the specials).

Gary Owens announcing, Lorenzo Music as Garfield.

Second theme is of course sung by Lorenzo Music and the US Acres cast.

Season 3 opening was used in syndication, with I think the later version of the end credits, on green (season 5-6).

Season 6 had a partial recut of the "Ready to Party" opening, not used in syndication.

Season 7 had a "Garfield Rap" which is best forgotten (and not used on DVD). Most of the visuals were taken from the episode "Garfield Rap (That's Called Bein a Cat)".

From what I saw of "Mystery, Inc.," it was a very smart reboot of Scooby-Doo, whose art style resembled Superman: The Animated Series. They found some depth in the characters.

But they managed to ruin The Hex Girls, a goth rock band from Scooby-Doo and the Witch's Ghost. They sound good but have no expressions. They just look depressed.

Better look at the Olive Films release of Rock-a-Doodle that came out a few days ago, widescreen, no special features, and having pictures taken from google as screengrabs (including the deleted skunk pie sequence cel-setup).
