Temuera Morrison. Also Jango Fett in the Star Wars prequels.

I'm not sure how to feel. I'm very vocal on how much I think the original's overrated and, after watching the trailer, it doesn't look terrible. It doesn't look amazing either, but it looks like it gets the job done. And it sounds like my biggest problem with the "Wizard of Oz" remake (the soulless vocals on Over the Rainbow) won't be a problem here, since they got pretty good soundalikes who actually sing the songs in the same vocal styles as the original actors. At the very least, it looks enjoyable.

BUT WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!??!

‘Animaniacs’ Reboot Being Developed By Steven Spielberg, Amblin TV and Warner Bros. — Exclusive

There's a lot that would need to come together for this to work and be worthy of the series' original run. Not least of which is Spielberg's involvement, seemingly assured here. Let's see how this pans out.

Without the original crew it's nothing.

Garrett Gilchrist wrote:Here is a soundtrack compilation for the 1983 Nelvana animated film, Rock & Rule.

It was previously believed that no official soundtrack album had ever been issued for Rock & Rule. However, as it turns out, a handful of film critics received a cassette tape featuring nine songs ("Hot Dogs and Sushi" and "Send Love Through" were omitted). All songs are extended from how they appear in the film and in familiar copies. ...

This is the ever first release of these versions of the songs that I'm aware of. Four or five songs appear here in versions not previously heard.

We received decent stereo audio of "Angel's Song" and "My Name is Mok" from this cassette, but the capture is much lower quality and in mono for "Triumph," "Invocation Song" and "Pain and Suffering."

I have done my best with the material, editing it together with the versions heard in the film (here from a 5.1 mix). The film's surround channels were used to omit some dialogue and extend "Hot Dogs & Sushi."

I have also included the movie versions of the songs (newly edited), and the versions heard on the original cassette. The first versions of "Angel's Song," "My Name is Mok," "Triumph," "Invocation Song" and "Pain & Suffering" that you'll hear on this disc combine both the film and cassette versions into one edit as best as possible.

"Born to Raise Hell," "I'm the Man," "Dance Dance Dance," and "Ohm Sweet Ohm" have been officially issued on CD, and appear here from that source, along with an alternate version of "Pain and Suffering," and "Maybe For Sure" (an alternate version of "Angel's Song").

EDIT: After a lot of experimentation I've redone "Pain & Suffering" [in two versions] and made some changes to "Send Love Through."

Garret, I'm planning on reproducing the tape for my own use. Could you scan each side of the tape and its label? If you can after all.

I don't personally own a copy of the tape. If I did we could have perhaps tried for a better transfer (the tape was damaged, resulting in mono audio only for three of the songs).

It's called Cartoon Network. Not Cartoons Network.

Several but pricey Pebble and the Penguin Storyboards being auctioned. ... nguin-1995

Most notable about these is that some of them have scenes that are not in the film, mainly the showdown with the 2 predator birds Drake sends to sic Hubie halfway through the movie, but were cut out completely aside from the first scene they appear, complete with Tim Curry unenthusiastically re-recording his role as Drake, lip movement not matching to make it seem as if those birds aren't important, as well as simply not filming them in one scene, but still panning the camera to where they should have been and keeping the ''flapping wings'' sound effects despite nothing being on the scene.
