I am attempting to update my personal website. In November 2014 I redesigned my site with fancier visuals - a 3D image of an apartment with links to my projects. Google didn't like this, and my site was moved lower in search results. It also didn't work well on mobile, and perhaps didn't explain my projects as well as it could have.

I am currently taking the opposite approach - the first draft is just a long list of links to where you can find my work on the internet, and some text about my work. I will be adding images, but intend to make this more informative and mobile friendly. It is probably overwhelming - "too long didn't read" - but there's also a lot to discuss. I've done a lot which is scattered all over the internet, and even a partial list of the more important stuff will be very long.

Not very helpful in this case, actually. In this case the "noise", while easy enough to remove, would be impossible to put back in as it's not really random noise but a pretty distinctive texture/sequence overlaid on the scene. And, when you remove it, you'd find the loss of detail and the impact that has on the scene quite noticeable.
Sorry to reply to such an old post, but I have seen Williarob use a technique that involves creating a noise map the same way one would create a dirtmap, but by using a DNR effect and futzing with layer merge types, applying the appropriate changes to the denoised footage, and then adding back the original noise. This technique has proven useful for 4k77 2.0 so far.

For the tenth anniversary of The Thief and the Cobbler Recobbled Cut Mk4, we have been working on some new and revised shots, correcting and restoring the film further.

This has included some new restoration and art by myself as well as about four new animations from Dennis Van Hout and Kiko Pablo. I have referred to this as the Recobbled Mk4-2.

I am looking for a few professional-level artists to contribute work. I cannot currently offer payment (although anyone interested in donating can also contact me).
