We don't have any Christmas Specials tradition in France ; no Grinch, no Rudolph, no Snowy and no Charlie Brown. Old sixties movies of Astérix, Tintin or Lucky Luke are often broadcast while the holidays, but it's more an habit than a tradition. Other programs consist of bloopers compilations and topless cabaret dancers.

Indeed. Broadcast on Christmas evening, new year's eve or both. My grandfather used to watch it, but we don't ! :D
