It deserves a more in-depth review than this, but suffice it to say that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is the worst film I have ever seen.

Download link for Miklos Rósza's film score, Sodom and Gomorrah. As usual it's an amazing film score worthy of the master, shame it belongs to such a badly written/edited film.

Indubitably, Dennis. Even Rozsa hated the film so it's a wonder he managed to write such a magnificent score for it. I also recommend picking up Tadlow Music's rerecording of the complete score with the City of Prague Philaharmonic Orchestra, who do a spectacular job as usual (they've also recorded his scores for El Cid, Quo Vadis, The Private Life of Sherlock Holmes, and will soon have a rerecording of Thief of Bagdad coming out).

Edit: Here's the most complete version of the film on the Internet if anyone's remotely interested.

Someone uploaded a half-hour's worth of footage from the unreleased Jerry Lewis film "The Day the Clown Cried."

In an interview with Flicker Alley, Lobster Films founder Serge Bromberg (who, along with David Shepard, restored The Lost World in 2000) gave a small update on the state of the most recent restoration of the film:
Well, the future plans for this title are very easy. We want to restore it again, in 2- or 4K, well, mostly 2K, based on the best surviving elements. We found new material since our last restoration in 2000, which of course, made the old version totally obsolete. So, we reconstructed the film. We had two musicians, Jeff Mills and Robert Israel, compose two new scores, plus we’ll have the old score by Alloy Orchestra—we’ll have three scores—we’ll have a lot of extras that no one has ever seen. But unfortunately, or fortunately, at the last moment you can arrive with new footage. So, at this moment, we’ve put a hold on the reconstruction, because we may need to work a bit more. Nevertheless, that’s where we are standing at the moment.

"The Front Page" is a famous film, but moviegoers have been watching not only poor quality copies but entirely the wrong version of it -- with different takes and dialogue -- that is, until now.

On a similar note, a program called The Reel Thing will be showing a new restoration of the uncensored version of Beat the Devil, another film that has languished in Public Domain, this Friday, as well as the new 4k restoration of One Eyed Jacks if anyone can make it.
