Okay, so this isn't something I'm not actively working on, but it is an idea. I decided to do a Matt Lieberman-style video and just turn on my webcam and just talk this idea out and see if I can see myself getting used to talking into a camera: http://youtu.be/NnceMe9ncII

I'll keep this short, but basically, a couple night ago, I had the idea of making YouTube videos in the style of Caddicarus, with some BrutalMoose, Nostalgia Critic, and a dash of The Nature Hates You Guy thrown in, about TV specials and movies. It wouldn't affect DisneyAshmanDemos, but I would try and get one done a month.

If you want to do it, do it -- don't need anyone else's permission. :)

You'll get more comfortable with the camera as you go along. Might be fun for you.

I've just seen that he got a plush made of the character --

An HD transfer of my old student film Beautiful Zelda [here presented with no sound], courtesy Helge Bernhardt.

Right now, and for the foreseeable future, 100% of my energy is dedicated to Esperia, the video game I'm developing with Paul Thacker. Paul had the vision and generosity to fund a month's development on the game, maybe more, and we're intending to Kickstart in March so stay tuned for that. I've created a lot of art over the past few weeks, but I'll just share this stuff again.

I'd been restoring my student films The Journey of Truesong and Beautiful Zelda with new HD transfers from 16mm by Helge Bernhardt. They'll take some more frame by frame work to remove splices and damage, although they already look pretty good.

I also edited together an early history of MST3K disc, which I'll leak out pretty soon.

I did several Muppet restorations this Christmas, mainly the John Denver special.

My restoration of the early-70s film Keep Off My Grass! with Mickey Dolenz is intended to come out on DVD in February.

Here is a look at a project which - sadly - didn't come together. I did a month's work on this children's book project, including a lot of CGI rough backgrounds. I was proud of how the sketches were coming together, but what I intended was too ambitious for the budget and it just wasn't a good fit.

Are there any rare films that you think are public domain that you'd be particularly interested in seeing restored for Blu-Ray release? Here's one company's list of public domain holdings ...

Going through that list, I would certainly love to see a properly restored Beat the Devil. However, there are also a few films on that list I would rather see from their respective studios like His Girl Friday and One Eyed Jacks (especially if it were restored from the original VistaVision elements).

Hey look, I made a YouTube video! Regular videos won't happen until I get a microphone, but hey. It's a step in the right direction. https://youtu.be/u1O-16QYf5c

I'm finishing up my Judy Garland syncs for a project someone's working on, so I put together a 16:9 version of "Seventy-Six Trombones" as a mock-up in case they would want the syncs in 16:9. They don't, which is good because it makes it easier for me, but I still think it turned out pretty well for what it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_tz8qA1LJiw

Starting work on my first ever screenplay. A biopic about the chess playing Turk automaton.
