Jim Henson's Wilkins Coffee ads began in 1957. He remade some of them in color for Red Diamond coffee in 1966.

Garrett, thank you so much for all this. This is an incredible resource.

I have a pretty decent copy of "Secrets of the Muppets", taped off CBC in 1991 or so. Don't know if it's any better than yours; here are a couple screenshots of the same scenes you had.

Hi Grant! That looks like a good copy to me, especially the color levels.

Could you upload it to Dropbox or Google Drive?

I've just deleted that other thread as it's way out of date now. We tracked down (and transferred) much better sources for many of the episodes and I've already released restorations of KD Lang, Buster Pointdexter, Smokey Robinson and Inner Tube, along with the laserdisc transfers of Dog City and Monster Maker. I have an improved copy of Dog City that I'll release at some point also.

Our current main copy of Secrets of the Muppets is actually quite good [and uncut compared to any other version I've seen] but I know I'm going to try to combine it with other transfers.

Just for the record, I am currently restoring a LOT of Muppet stuff thanks to W and G and JD and other people.

Here's a list of what's in progress:

The Great Santa Claus Switch (rough master is done, needs a lot of manual cleanup)
The Muppets: A Celebration of 30 Years [partly done, waiting on a little more footage as we discovered some minor cuts in it]
The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson [basically done, needs a little Photoshop fixing]
Little Muppet Monsters episode 1-3 [work has begun on this - I need the Muppets Babies and Monsters intro and the Muppet Babies intro and outro]

Work has begun on all of these, but they need a bit more work:
Jim Henson Hour: Today Show / Soldier and Death [have many good sources]
Jim Henson Hour: Ratings / Miss Piggy's Hollywood (good sources, needs a lot of manual cleanup)
Jim Henson Hour: Secrets of the Muppets [have good sources]
Jim Henson Hour: Outer Space / Heartless Giant [not very good sources]
Jim Henson Hour: Oceans / Lighthouse Island [not very good sources]
Jim Henson Hour: Living With Dinosaurs (waiting on a possible new PAL source for this, as my main PAL source has Dutch subtitles)
Jim Henson Hour: Food / The Three Ravens (a rough version is done but waiting for a less terrible source on this)

Talk show appearances and other:
Jim Henson is inducted into the TV Academy Hall of Fame on FOX (FINISHED)
Entertainment Tonight: Muppet Family Christmas (finished, for AT's Muppet Family Christmas disc next month)
Tonight Show with Jay Leno 4-17-89 (finished)
Pat Sajak Show 5-8-89 (FINISHED)
Jim Henson on Arsenio Hall (two appearances finished, maybe more work to be done on second appearance)
Jim Henson on The Today Show 1989 with Jane Pauley, and Pauley revisiting this on MSNBC Time and Again (finished)

I also did work on these and am considering them done, though they're not full-quality clips:
Today Show 1984 clip, CBS This Morning 1989, Rowlf on Jimmy Dean Christmas, Perry Como Reindeer sketch

I posted this on Twitter:

Here's an odd thought, perhaps for @mktoon. The Hub has aired episodes of Fraggle Rock and even recorded new footage with Red and Gobo. Maybe the Hub could bring Little Muppet Monsters back. A live action/animated spinoff of Muppet Babies, eighteen episodes were recorded featuring the original Muppet Show cast. That's Jim Henson, Frank Oz, Richard Hunt, Dave Goelz, Jerry Nelson. Only Goelz and Oz are still with us, and Oz is retired. Three episodes aired, but the animation for the rest was not delivered on time and the show was pulled. The remaining episodes have never been seen by anyone, and the animation never finished. http://muppet.wikia.com/wiki/Little_Muppet_Monsters

Here's an obscure Muppet song. Todd Buonopane sings the song "Claudius is Gonna Be King For Awhile," written by Jeff Marx and Bobby Lopez (Avenue Q) for a proposed Muppet movie, "Kermit, Prince of Denmark" (a parody of Hamlet).

Here's Rick Lyons as Kermit the Frog performing a bit of "Off to Denmark."

The composers briefly perform "Off to Denver" here:

All of the Kermit, Prince of Denmark demo songs leaked in 2008, but vanished along with Megaupload.
