There are only a handful of people you could even call peers to Stan Freberg. Mel Blanc, Daws Butler, June Foray. Jim Henson got his start with a show called Sam & Friends, often lip-syncing to Stan Freberg's comedy records, to the point where Freberg eventually came on the show to complain! The German dub of The Muppet Show, which lasted 3 seasons, was an interesting affair. Some unique footage was shot for it, including an entire segment in the Twiggy episode, with German guest star Mary Roos singing "Lean On Me." German viewers still talk about Eberhard Storeck's version of the Swedish Chef, "The Danish Cook." "Smorrebrod smorrebrod, rum pom pom pom ..."

I wouldn't say this is actually good, but G4's Attack of the Show parodied the Wilkins Coffee commercials a few years back.
