Every ten years, Warner Bros. merges with a company like Uncle Steve's Discount Vacuum Cleaners for a trillion dollars, and the immediate result is that they lose a trillion dollars and stop doing anything they were doing that was popular

Previously, Warner Bros has merged with minor film production company Seven Arts, with Time Magazine, with a certain telephone & telegraph company ... all past their prime at the time ... The WB Studio Store era ended due to a merger with a flash-in-the-pan internet company best known for sending unasked-for floppy discs in the mail ... now a trash reality television station that immediately cancelled anything they couldn't sell to Trump voters, and burned the company down for the insurance money

David Zaslav should be in prison.

I don't know what else to say about someone who is dismantling a trillion dollar company, and undoing the contractual union TV and film work of thousands of artists, worth billions of dollars, as part of an elaborate tax fraud.

He's also a bigot.

It went from a punishing 108 degrees in the day (for almost the entire year) to 38 degrees at night in what feels like two weeks. There's never a point where the weather is just pleasant and you can keep your windows open. The week that it was no longer punishingly hot was when it got a little cold.

Four ghosts including the late J. Epstein have been arrested after trespassing at the home of E. Musk on Christmas Eve, in what they described as an attempt to "change his ways."

I was carded at the grocery store, if you want to know how the Boomers are doing. Madam I am in my forties and you would be retired by now if you hadn't voted for Reagan twice

Republicans Pass Bill to Outlaw Breathing
“It’s okay when I do it,” stated Tucker Carlson on FOX News. “I am an exception and God’s Special Boy. But we shouldn’t allow breathing for those who haven’t earned it, for those people who contribute nothing to our society.” No exceptions are coded into the law, which is nonetheless expected to be selectively enforced.

Me, listening to a Youtuber or Podcaster discuss a subject I'm interested in:

"Wow, that's interesting"

Me listening to a Youtuber or Podcaster discuss a subject I know anything about:

"None of this is true. You're improvising randomly, based on a half-remembered Wiki summary"

Half sunk a shattered visage lies, with a frown,
and wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
and on the pedestal, these words appear:
"Let that sink in!"
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare
the lone and level sands stretch far away.

isn't it funny how we all think we could go back to the past and change the future, but don't think we can change the future in the present, which is also the future's past

maybe because we parse time travel as a su*cide mission with specific goals
