Re: Through Time & Space: The Doctor Who Thread

I just import UK releases of UK shows if I'm going to buy them. I can't stand buying US DVDs/Blu-rays if I know the show was made in the 625/25i format. Due to me ripping everything I collect to my hard drives (and cleaning it up later if I think it necessary) I've found I've lost much interest in r...

Re: Through Time & Space: The Doctor Who Thread

Missed my chance to get the Fourth set at a decent price, though I compared screens of my Robot DVD and the ones posted to blu-ray.com and there is a delightful uptick in quality, thankfully the natural 2" tape noise is mostly intact Super excited for the Fifth Doctor one! While I'm not the biggest ...

Re: Movie Thread: The Dissection Room

Just saw the 2018 cut of Shamelessly She-Hulk, so nice to see it all in order! I love how the chemistry between characters was still maintained despite all the chroma key, these were definitely the right actors to cast. The pacing was surprisingly consistent for all the scenes that were completely s...

Re: TV Thread

Here's a link to a re-edit of the ending to Red Dwarf Vi: Out Of Time I did awhile back but never posted, I call it the Skip-To-Series-X Edit: https://youtu.be/2Ogy5ZtmA0g

Re: Animation Thread

A compilation sounds good, maybe a short "best of/worst of" kind of thing. I'll add it to my list. I can already think of a few shots that stick out. I haven't seen much of the new DuckTales outside of a few adverts, I either haven't had the time or just not feeling up to watching anything new. Thou...

Re: Animation Thread

True, very true. Some Tiny Tonns are quite hard to watch for that reason. One of the Elmyra skits where Buster (I think) is making her dance continuously across an area is done in that 'Kennedy Kick" fashion with the shoes at an impossible angle, only they have the background moving horizontally at ...

Re: Animation Thread

Now there's a disturbing compilation! I could go on a rant about Kennedy, but I won't; I'll just say two things about them: 1) It's one of the great annoyances for a Darkwing Duck fan such as myself that their shoddy work "graces" six entire episodes, three of which are origin stories. 2) Their work...

Re: Through Time & Space: The Doctor Who Thread

Here's a silly thought, came to mind after stumbling upon a pretty well done piece of DeviantArt fanart while spending hours laughing heartily from the articles on that uncyclopedia-styled comedy "Doctor Who General" wiki: https://img00.deviantart.net/7b5b/i/2014/246/8/9/logopolis_by_mistressainley-...

Re: Through Time & Space: The Doctor Who Thread

Lovely work! You're absolutely right, changing colour definitely works better, there'd have to be a equivalent scale (I don't know the term but like a VCA only for visuals) if any sort of brightness tampering were done to keep the change consistent. Personally, I'd love to keep his ties untouched wh...
