Re: The Thief and the Cobbler: Recobbled Cut Mark 4

Sounds like there are going to be stories to tell, can't wait to hear them.

Re: The Thief and the Cobbler: Recobbled Cut Mark 4

Hope to hear back with news of how close the Recobbled cut was in it's current form. Hope you have a great time and maybe meet the man himself.

Re: What are you working on?

Just finished my final project for my (digital) animation class, and while I'm not all that thrilled with it, I'm still kind of happy that I got it done. Though now I've definitely found a new appreciation for animators (had to spend my whole Fall break working on it) and had a lot of fun with it. D...

Re: Random Thread

I'd honestly be willing to watch. At the moment (and for the next couple weeks) I would probably pass due to exams but after that yeah I'd love to see more livestreams. Heck, we could get a rotation going around here if we wanted to with how many people seem to be doing stuff.

Re: What are you working on?

So turns out Adobe completely ruined some Flash symbol mechanics, making most of my teachers instructions completely useless for the current assignment. Thanks a bunch, Adobe. EDIT: So turns out that the feature I was looking for wasn't removed, but hidden under 3 extra default settings making it ha...

Re: What are you working on?

Today I'm heading off to the Tisch Animation Department building with paper, pencils, erasers and everything else to do on-paper animation. Reason I need to head to the building is to rent one of their lightboxes so I can use "onioning" to draw each frame better. This should be an interesting projec...

Re: What are you working on?

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/110717148/DigitalAnimation/Phones_Jump_gao_v41.mov Did this for my digital animation class, drawn in Flash, and is the first hand-drawn animation I've ever done. I know if seems floaty but I'm happy with it since it was a semi-rush job. Up next, lip sync and sligh...

Re: Random Thread

It's generally called 2D animation, but a tablet still counts as hand-drawn animation, yes. What are you working on, Geo? I'll make a post in the "What are you working on" thread. It's mostly class work but it's my first ever hand-drawn (since we're in agreement) animation. Due tomorrow though so y...
