"It's stuff like this that makes me want to live in a barbarian movie, giving fate a retort with my heavy steel, and as the choirs scream my name ... ah, my wonderful fantasy world."

-- Garrett Gilchrist
Whether living out barbarian fantasies or unsuccessfully hitting on women, onscreen and off, David Ashe is the quintessential OCP actor. He is a veteran of the stage, having appeared in many local plays, working with Masuk Summer Theater. He is also an accomplished screenwriter. His first original screenplay, "Campus of Doom," about the attack of the forces of darkness on a college, was a fast-paced comic epic -- and when the words "comic" and "epic" are used to describe an Ashe script, you better believe it's comic, and epic! He is currently attending Florida State University, where he directed and starred in an original short film, "To Film School, or The Killer Machines Have My Car Keys," about an FSU student unable to get in their film program (much like Ashe himself), but desperate to complete a light-hearted musical comedy about killing machines sent from the future to enslave humanity. Unhappy with the short, Ashe didn't bother to release it.
Eventually, of course, he'd like to direct better.
