One year after shooting the experimental improvisational unclassifiable "Animal Game," the cast reunited to record a semi-sequel, "The Animal Effect." The characters are the same with the addition of Liz Dimenno as Audrey, and the plot finds Mike, who has failed out of college and now wants to be a filmmaker, calling Larry back all the way from California [where Larry has spent the past year] to appear in a new horror movie, "The Animal Effect." Larry half-jokingly accuses Mike of ripping of his own failed ideas, but are Mike's half-asleep moviemaking efforts really a cry for help?
Well, we tried, but the as-of-yet-unreleased sequel didn't really capture the feel and flow of the original, I'm afraid. After spending three weeks nonstop shooting the movie "Excaliburger" there wasn't enough time to prepare and we were all just too tired to finish "The Animal Effect," going to sleep before a real conclusion could be reached.
